Welcome to the Orange City Croquet Club, established in 1992 at the Orange City Bowling Club where we had a good relationship and were able to purchase all our own equipment by running raffles, gala days and with donations. Shade Sheds were erected with the assistance of a grant from the Department of Sport and Recreation.
The Club then moved to its own grounds at Jaeger Reserve in Hill Street, Orange and with assistance from Orange City Council developed 2 courts. The Courts’ first official use was the Autumn Association Carnival in April 2007.
The current Clubhouse was built, with a lot of hard work and fundraising by members, and was officially opened on 1st November, 2008 with seven of our original members present.
The Club’s official playing days are Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday when we play Association and Golf croquet. Visiting players and those interested in playing are more than welcome
